As a proud Alberta Civil Engineering company, our work ethic at TeckEra is driven by four simple principles that are very important to us:
We always know what is going on in the field because we spend time there. At TeckEra, each of us plays more than one role. We may start a meeting wearing a suit and tie, and finish dressed in steel-toe boots, hard hats and coveralls. This sets us apart from other firms. Our clients, new and long-term, have access to a civil engineering company and expertise that includes subdivision re-zoning, planning and design to construction budgeting, scheduling and project management, and we are not afraid to get our hands dirty.
Because our expertise is under one roof, we can also be flexible with rates. We bring our own equipment on site, keep travel expenses low and bill for tasks completed, and not according to employee designation.
We are straight shooters and big on communication. Because TeckEra is nimble with lower overhead costs, we are not just responsive, but available when your civil engineering project needs extra attention.
We are a small company big on face-to-face relationships. As an Alberta Civil Engineering company, we become an integral part of our clients’ communities, including our Indigenous and rural clients’ communities, learning how they operate, showing up for their town hall meetings, and accommodating those with limited resources and funding.
